Markos Scheer
Mr. Scheer's broad practice emphasizes maritime law and fisheries. He spent many years in the Alaska seafood industry before attending law school. His involvement in fisheries from Bristol Bay to Southeast Alaska made him intimately familiar with the industry and the people engaged in it. Mr. Scheer's practice includes maritime issues and fisheries, including vessel licensing, fisheries regulations, permits, vessel construction, citizenship and endorsement qualifications, as well as a broad range of general business and civil litigation matters. Mr. Scheer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, his juris doctor from the University of Idaho, College of Law and is a member of the Alaska and Washington State Bar Associations.
